Thought about posting this somewhere else, but since it's basketball related and just really funny, I thought I'd leave it here.

For those of you that don't know, there's been a running joke about Duke's Grayson Allen looking like Ted Cruz.

Enter Deadspin, taking Cruz to task about stories of him playing pickup basketball with other lawmakers, then this happens...

Politically I'm an independent... One of those dudes. (Liberal on most social issues conservative on fiscal issues)

More importantly, as a sports fan I'm an independent. Meaning I prefer my sports independent of political bull shit. Conservative gibberish would be annoying as well.
