🏈 tebow's character

dont know if you all knew but i have a lot of respect for tebow and i will explain he is a first class guy . last night after mark received the trophy and it went off the air mark was suppose to do an interview with chris fowler but he was still so overwhelmed with emotions that tim came and pulled him to the side to talk to him after about ten minutes mark had a better handle on his emotions then they stood there for a few more minutes to pray and then mark went and did the interview. the media makes a circus out of tim's life and it isnt his doing but that just shows the kind of person he is a very very good CHRISTAN . i cant think of another athlete that would do that for someone who helped beat them earlier that week and just won the heisman over u to ...

He seems to be a great guy. I never understood why everyone hates him . But I guess Jesus was made fun of so Tim should expect it. My hat is off to him and Mark Ingram. In this great country we live in that is turning its back on the Lord daily its nice to see some people in the spotlight not afraid to let thier love for the Lord show.

I don't think it's that everyone hates him. They're (myself included) just tired of him. We've had Tebow rammed down our throats for 4 years now.
I think he is an outstanding young man and wish him only the best. He has never shown anything but class and has always displayed his faith in a positive way.
Whether he plays ball in the pros or not, he will be a success at whatever he chooses. He's a winner any way you cut it.
I used to say the same thing about Tiger Woods. But that's another story.

I like him as a person. He seems to be a very down to earth and classy guy. I blame the media for shoving him down everyone's throat though. It's just like a food, for instance: I may like peas and carrots....I might even love them. But if someone forced me to eat peas and carrots every day, every time I eat, then I'd probably grow to hate them because of that. Same with Tebow. I like him as a person, but every time I turn on the TV to watch college football, it seems like he gets mentioned over and over and over, to the point I can no longer take it.

This may be moved to the political section, but my problem with him is the evangelical brand of christianity. Maybe I have a problem with the spewing of intolerance and hate towards those who do not believe in his particular band of christianity. I have probably alienated myself from most of the members of the board but this is the way that I feel. I also do not understand the fixation that the medial has with him. They act if he is the only christian athlete that has ever played college football. Also, you would never know that he considers himself a christian. It's not like he displays his religiosity ever chance that he gets (could not resist the sarcasm). I would also state that you should not blame the media for cramming him down our throats. it isn't like he is going out of his way to ignore the media attention. Sorry about the rant. You may now plug away at my statement.

I respect the kid as a Christian and as a great competitor. I think everyone got tired of the love fest that the media had with him. I can recall awhile back when a certain QB donning the Crimson and White would make a profession of faith and the TV would quickly cut away. Tebow is a class act no doubt. Sorta makes you wonder where his vote went? I say it stayed in the SEC.

I'm not tired of Tebow, I'm tired of the man love he gets from the media.

I have to agree. I have nothing against the kid. He seems like a nice, decent guy. It's the media that just kept on and on about him.

I agree with an earlier post, I think his vote stayed in the SEC. I think after watching Mark run through countless Gator teammates Tim may have been stunned into voting for Mark! :td:

I think Tebow is a great guy and a great athlete, but the media love for him and the fact that you couldn't watch a football game, any football game, without hearing his name mentioned at least 10 times, is what I think turned so many people against him.
I think Tebow voted for Ingram, just from his reaction to Mark winning.

Opinions vary.
