Alabama returned the the practice field Monday morning for its first of two practices. The Crimson Tide players practiced indoors and in full pads on a rainy, 73-degree morning in Tuscaloosa. It was the team's 13th practice of its 2015 fall camp.

Here are several tidbits from Alabama's 13th fall training camp practice session on Monday:

- Quarterback Jacob Coker was not spotted on the field during the two media viewing periods. When the quarterbacks threw to receivers, it was Alec Morris and Cooper Bateman in one line and David Cornwell and Blake Barnett in the other.

- Senior running back Kenyan Drake (hamstring) was limited Monday, standing off the side during drills, and his right leg housed a support apparatus. The apparatus limits the mobility of his hamstring.

- Wide receiver Robert Foster (knee) appeared to be fine, leading one receiver line through pass-catching drills. Foster sprained his knee during the team's first scrimmage of fall camp Sunday. He wore a small brace on his right knee.

- Redshirt junior wide out Chris Black (ankle) still appeared to be somewhat limited, although he participated in some pass-catching drills. His left ankle was taped and he went through the drills at about half speed.

- Freshman running back Bo Scarbrough (knee) was still limited but participated in some of the tailbacks' drills Monday.

- Freshman offensive lineman Lester Cotton was back out on the practice field and participating in individual drills.

- Alphonse Taylor appeared to be seeing some reps at the first-team right guard position during Monday morning's session.

- Toward the end of the second viewing period, the defense lined up in its nickel package. The cornerbacks were Cyrus Jonesand freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick, the safeties were Eddie Jackson and Geno Smith, the Star was Maurice Smith and the two inside linebackers were Reggie Ragland and Reuben Foster.

It's been pouring in Tuscaloosa for the better part of 12 hours so the team went indoors for the first of two practices Monday. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.

No Jake Coker. That's right, the senior quarterback wasn't spotted anywhere on the field during the viewing period. More information on that as it becomes available. The quarterbacks threw in one group: (in order) David Cornwell, Alec Morris, Cooper Bateman and Blake Barnett.

Chris Black went through drills but clearly favored the injured ankle and ran gingerly through pass routes. Robert Foster went through practice and there didn't appear to be any issues from his scrimmage injury.

Freshman offensive lineman Lester Cotton was back at practice after missing the last few with a minor injury.

The first team offensive line remained the same: Cam Robinson, Ross Pierschbacher, Ryan Kelly, Bradley Bozeman, Dominick Jackson.

Former NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin (Lane's father) was spotted at practice.

I know more than I can report on this situation, but here is what I can tell you. Jake Coker is not suspended. He's not transferring. He doesn't have a season-ending injury. Due to a variety of reasons, that's all I can report for now. But it's not as dire as some are fearing, so take a deep breath.

4-20? OUCH!!! That will definitely bruise the ego! That would give me a stomach bug too. I'm not in the Coker camp, but if it is true, a limited playbook with no check downs, going against this D, would make A LOT of people want a 4-20!
