This entire scrimmage was about passing, the runs were all up the middle and basic.

Yes sir, it was. With a limited playbook as well.

Perhaps it's just me but I remain cautiously optimistic. Believe you me, as many will attest here, I was in favor of a guy like Braxton coming in IF it meant better decisions in the pocket. But, I have to remind myself that I don't know what the staff was looking at during scrimmage. I know there were bad decisions just like I know if we'd had an outlet for the QB's (RB's) we'd likely not see so many INT's.

To me, it just makes sense for QB's to force the ball in some situations when it's just that ... a passing scrimmage.

Drake will be fine and will participate in this coming Saturdays scrimmage.

Yep. I'm glad it's not a serious enough strain to hold him out for more than a bit. Hell, rest 'em is how I see this. The sooner we see the backups on opening weekend the happier I'll be.

Lots of crimson colored glasses in here. With this schedule, QB will make or break 2-3 games for us this year. I don't care how talented we are, an inconsistent QB could prevent us from making it to Atlanta and beyond.

The game has changed, but we heard the same thing in 1992. We got consistency in '92 though. This year will be interesting if nothing else. I'll stand by my prediction of an undefeated season as I retrieve my glasses.

Quick blurb about the OL, my predictions are from OL coaches and sources close to the OL. They think Mario finally has his group and they will be good. One semi weakness is Dom Jackson and Pass Pro but he is an absolute road grader at runs. He will get better.

Uggh. I love Dom's potential in the run game, and he IS going against one of the best if not THE best DL he will face all year, but...if he can't pass pro, that means keeping the TE in to help him out or having the guard slide over to help him. Either choice alters our scheme and gives us more limitations we don't need.

He was one of the best kickers in CO High school football along with the Auburn kicker... I'm sure Saban doesn't want to overwhelm him, but if Griff gets off to a slow start I hope JK gets a chance.

Scares me less than Coker at this point. Yeah, pretty crazy considering Saban couldn't remember who he signed the year Winston signed with FSU, and calls him Alex.

I would still really like to know what the deal was with Cornwell getting just 1 series.

Everyone seems to think Aaron Murray is still at UGAly. He isn't. I bet Richt would take any of our 5. Which means it'll be Chubb vs. the Dline. Look for Henry to prove he's King RB in the SEC in this game.
Aggie will be looking for revenge. Their QB is pretty good. This is the trap game for Bama, but Henry and the Oline should be able to dominate.
Tenn is all smoke and mirrors.
LSU would take any of our 5 too. Just sick The Bone Collector on LF and all's well.
IDEFK what Miss St. has coming. Could be a trap game too.
All bets are off with the goat lovers.

If Bama's D is even half as good as advertised then they will be terrorizing these new QBs in the SEC. And They've been keying on turnovers?!!!?
Bama could sweep the defensive awards this season. And with our QB situation being what it is, Henry could be coronated in NYC this December.

Jeremy Johnson has that potential but we are much improved, Swag Kelly will have a long day against us in a revenge game.
