šŸˆ TCU QB Trevone Boykin allegedly hit a bicycle patrol officer following a bar fight

Clearly not the way he wanted to end his career with TCU. I'm of the opinion he didn't purposely swing on the cop. Until I hear differently, this is my view.

I have a temper and could easily see something like this happening to me where you get so caught up in the situation that shit just goes the wrong direction.

My opinion is that he was swinging at anything/anyone that came close that he didn't recognize.

My opinion, we all got one on here. For me, I don't care how bad it is. You just don't hit a policeman. Also "Society is to blame ", "Parents lay the foundation" I think both of these are right. The parents can only teach so much. Then the child go out in the society life, and learn from here too.

Video of the incident. There are some people who just don't like it when you put hands on them. Boykin apparently doesn't appreciate a choker hold...can't say that I blame him. I get an attitude when you put your hands on me, I don't care who you are in a situation like this.

Hitting a police officer that deserves it is putting yourself in a even worse situation. Engaging in acts of aggression with someone who is trained to deal with it, the law favors their acts of defense, & worst of all, the bad ones are entitled to escalating measures of defense...(gun, etc)... it's just plain circumstance that dooms you.

For those of us with a temper... most instances favor walking away.

Are you saying it's the bouncers who are at fault? And the police officer deserved to get hit?

No my friend but quite the opposite. Some folks have implied (marginally) that hitting an officer that deserves it is acceptable. I am saying to the contrary, especially if the officer is out of line. If an officer is out of line, you are dealing with a person who will justify using lethal force that much more aggressively. Better to walk away than deal with a person on that level.

Okay, I'm good. From the video, it looks like Trevon was WAY out of line and deserved everything he got.
