Have we taken a snap under center other than a qb sneak? It seems we have gone primarily to a shotgun offense. The offense is too predictable. We need some new formations.
I have noticed under center, the pistol, and Shotgun for Gmac. I dont think its the shotgun that makes it predicitable. That gives the QB a better view of the D pre-snap. I think there is something else in the pre-snap that is giving it away. Didnt an old Bama player (John Hannah maybe) call out the offensive line in '06 or '07 for giving away run versus pass due to how they placed their hands? Maybe the O-line/ wr's/ or TE is doing something everyone has picked up after Florida.
* Also, has Ingram always linedup so far back? I noticed it during the Ole Miss game the other night. I kept thinking man he's way back there.
The tailback is lined up at 7 yards deep just as he would if in the traditional I formation with the fullback in front of him. The tip off on the linemans' hand is the weight on the hand that tells run or pass. White knuckles means its a run so they can stay low and drive the defender off of the ball while red means pass.

You can look at their fingers if linemen have gloves. Fingers that aren't extended out mean pass while extended fingers again mean pressure and therefore mean run.
