Alabama practiced indoors for the second consecutive day in preparation for its game in the Georgia Dome Saturday. Here is what I noticed during the viewing period.

Austin Shepherd was working with the first group at left tackle with Grant Hill at right tackle. Cam Robinson was dressed and did go through some drills, but it's obvious the coaching staff is being cautious with the talented freshman.

T.J. Yeldon was again off to himself, standing with two footballs under his arms. Derrick Henry led the running backs group in drills.

Outside linebacker Denzel Devall practiced. He's been limited with an ankle injury.

Brian Vogler went through drills with a heavy brace on his left knee.

ArDarius Stewart looked good on a route running full speed down the field, showing no signs of the knee injury he suffered against Western Carolina.

Ryan Anderson was limited with a shoulder injury. I did not see him go through a drill, but he was on the opposite side of the field inaccessible to us during the viewing period.

Of course, it's never good news to see an injury like his, esp. early in the game, but in this case, this did make Smart use both Williams and Evans a lot more...And that's a good thing. Williams is a FREAK! Love watching those two wreak havoc in the backfield. Hope Mauk has nightmares of those two the way Cousins did about Upshaw a few years ago.
