The team was back at it Tuesday afternoon in a regular practice. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.
Jake Coker was working on deep throws and he threw three or four beauties while i watched. When he steps into one you can tell which quarterback threw it. The throw has a different trajectory to it. He also threw a couple of arcing throws that landed on the money. Some quarterbacks, once they experience a little success, the light comes on for them a little bit. Some play better in a game than they do in practice. I'm not saying that's the case with Coker, but he looked confident in his throws today.
Blake Barnett was not spotted at practice. No word on his absence from Alabama as of yet.
Sophomore inside linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton was back at practice after missing Monday due to a personal issue.
The secondary continued to work without safety Jabriel Washington, who suffered a sprained knee. He will be out a couple of weeks.
