Bellichek doesnt usually draft that high. He was the first player taken by NE in this draft.
He usually drafts WRs etc in late rounds.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Cyrus has a knack for making plays and the physical and mental toughness to compete in the NFL.

Seems like Hoodie would personally speak with Saban out dudes he should consider taking... Saban knows more than anyone the importance of non measurables/competitiveness/toughness, etc. That's probably why Cyrus started at CB at a soph after playing WR as a frosh. Unheard of at Alabama.

I never understand the draft from rounds 4 through 7, I'm pretty sure I'm Bama prejudice, but how in the hell do you pick a WR from Germany over someone like Eddie Jackson, Duvall, or even Coker?

Some of you will argue that this is skewed by the fact that they return 17 and 19 starters. BUT... they had 17 players eligible for the draft, and 10 were felt to be possibilities for the late rounds.

Pig Howard, Marquez North and Von Pearson were 3 WRs that entered the draft!!
