Kid is dumb as a box of rocks from what I've heard. He'll be like Stafford, immense talent, but will simply never devote the time to become a star. Stafford relied on his cannon arm and you can tell by his turnovers in college it didn't do him any favors that a defense couldn't figure out at a higher level.
A lot of folks give Hurts a hard time about his passing, but he destroyed Eason when you look at it all, and add in his rushing stats and any comparison is laughable. Especially when you talk about the hype of Eason compared to a Hurts.
Oh damn. What was it? 28, 29 degrees with the wind constantly blowing? Castille showed off that night as did the entire defense. I want to say Bama had seven INT's that night.
I swore I'd never attend another game there...and then saw Curry's team lose to Memphis five years later.

It was brutal on the weather..... Castille had a couple of shots that dislodged the ball from the receivers..... would have been ejected by todays standards. :naughtydevil:
Only two games I can think of that were worse: Va Tech in the Music City and Bama vs Auburn in '00 (although I wasn't feeling a lot of anything that day...only game I've ever left early.)

Was the aubrun game the 9-0 in the sleet? That one was indeed miserable. I remember a shutout loss to So Miss, I think, at Legion Field where it was warm but rained incredibly hard. That storm that rolled through when we gave up the lead to Arkansas in Tuscaloosa was pretty impressive, too.
I recall a brutal lightning storm in 94 vs the rebs at BDS. Back then they were allowed to play through a lot of thunder and distant lightning until it struck just outside the stadium before the refs called the delay.
