⚾ 🥎 Super Regional First Game Home Team

Am I missing something here? In four (Norman, Seattle, Gainesville, and Minneapolis) of the eight Super Regionals, the visiting team is shown as the designated home team in the first game. I don't ever remember that being the case in the past.

I think what he is referring to is when you click the Super Regional site, it has teams listed on top and bottom like you would see in a box score, away team on top and home on bottom.

Just learned they showed it the same in 2018. Checked the box score on one of the Regionals shown that way and the visitor was NOT the home team in the first game. Have no idea why they are showing it that way.

If you look at the entire bracket, all of the top brackets have the higher seeded team on top. It’s just the way the brackets show up
