I don't know if he was on TV. I do know Furman Bisher attended UNC: thought about him while thinking about who would join Stu. SVP would be one...those two talking Maryland and UNC basketball.

UNC...think that's also where David Brinkley went to school.

He's one of the few anchors where you knew where his school allegiances were but I never saw him being overtly biased towards UNC nor biased against a team playing UNC that he was covering. That's the reason I included SVP as well.
