UF: 281 Yards of total offense
UA: 273 Yards of total offense

Richardson 10 carries, 63 yards
Ingram 12 carries, 47 yards

If you had told me that UF outgained you guys and that Richardson didn't break 100 I would have called you a liar. I know you never really had a long field so stats aren't going to be high--this isn't a negative post at all. It just shocked me.

I do have a question though. How do you guys feel about the whole Ingram vs Richardson debate? Debate meaning who is better. Florida made a gameplan to stop the run, much like we did last year. In both games Richardson was able to find more running room than Ingram. Any thoughts on a reason for that? I've heard grumblings from a few Bama friends--do a lot of people actually think Richardson is a better back than Ingram?

Either one of them could start anywhere in America. They are relatively interchangeable in my opinion. I certainly wouldn't complain about having both of them.

i think it's awesome, not one person (RB, QB, WR, TE) broke 100 yds - seriously we beat a super fast talented Florida team 31-6.

In all honesty, when does Urban check himself into the hospital again...not that I'm wishing that on him.

It says a lot for how efficient the offense is. To put up 30 points with less than 300 yards just seems odd to me. It also speaks to how short the field was which is obviously attributed to the defense.

Statistically speaking this was a "down week" but it still ended with exposing, and blowing out, a top ten team. The offensive stats remind me of one of those "not as close as the score seems" games. Florida didn't have an answer for anything it seemed. It felt like Bama racked up a ton of yards. It damn sure didn't seem like Florida got 280+. I would've guessed a good bit less than 250

Ump, thanks for your "addition" to the thread. Your commentary was insightful.

The offense didn't put up 30 points. They only scored 24. Two of the touchdown drives totaled 10 plays for 60 yards. In the second half? We completely shut it down. We only went on offense 3 times in the second half and before the game ending drive led by 2nd QB and 3rd RB, we only had 17 yards on 8 plays.

Completely shut it down. And still registered a 25 point victory over a top 10 team.

I'd rather have Ingram running with our first team guys when it counts. Only having 4 offensive snaps in the 3rd quarter and then running the clock out in the 4th pretty much killed any chance of having pretty offensive numbers...

That game was over after the failed jump pass... and everyone knew it.

Now that's is funny !
Duder I have a Bama fan application you want me to email you a copy?

Ha, I'll pass. I'm just wired different than most Auburn fans I suppose so I don't mind admitting that Alabama has a damn good football team. I harbor zero ill-will towards you guys. I grew up in an Alabama house. I still have my dad's Alabama Daniel Moore/Greg Gamble print collection hanging up in my weight room. Half the room is my Auburn stuff and the other half is his Alabama stuff. Respect for him and all...

Argo, I forgot about the defensive TD. Still an efficient offense in the first half
