šŸ“ āāāā RB, Justice Haynes, commits to Alabama

You'll notice on the screen shot of his bio there are two predictions he'd land at UGA. Rusty is 247's main guy for UGA; runs the Dawgs247 site and hits on about a 90% accuracy rate on his predictions.

I don't know of anyone who saw this coming.

UGA has four committed out of their top 20 instate. There are only four undecided with one—who happens to be the state's #1 recruit—projected to Alabama. (Downs, safety.)

Justice Haynes to Alabama is one of the biggest surprises to me in my 12 years of doing this. He has been strong lean to Georgia behind the scenes for a long time, as a legacy. No way to sugar coat this one, I am not even sure where Georgia goes with RB now in this class having to sign two guys imo. I think maybe Roderick Robinson is guy I had heard that Dell saw in the spring committed to UCLA is guy they like. I keep hearing he may take OV during the season.

Maybe Dontravius Braswell from Washington County is someone they circle back on. I will be looking at new offers and seeing what I hearing moving forward with his.

Another note here would be Caleb Downs, they are close, so this will not hurt Alabama’s chances with him at all.

Not something you probably want to hear, but that is my thoughts after this decision. Absolutely a shocker in Justice Haynes to Alabama.

Georgia will continue to recruit Richard Young for sure. I will try to update some things when I hear more on it.

I guess this is the same kind of shock factor to Jawja fans as Woods' Clemson commitment was to Bama fans.
Not at all. I mentioned Woods was headed there several days before he announced; maybe as much at two weeks prior. It was no secret that's where he was committing. They were the "contender" as much as a year ago.

(EDIT: Well, I guess that's true with some fans...I can't speak for what everyone else is thinking. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø )

Downs is close and Young is supposedly committing in next two weeks.... Both are in good spot with Bama.

Dontravius Braswell is committed to SC, but lot can change.

You’re right … at least it was for me. Granted, I don’t have much inside scoop but from everything I had read online and heard on sports talk radio, I thought for sure Woods was going to commit to Bama. I somehow missed Terry’s prediction … must have been posted when I was out of town.

I mentioned it about a month ago on here. I told y'all a guy on his Team Georgia team we are close with told me he was leaning Alabama. Now you obviously don't yell that from the topnof the roof, but I made mention of it. I also stated he's a lefty that hits 93 in baseball, but giving it up after this Summer. Bohanan needs to meet him, after he signs.

I love it they thought that, yet other high school kids around him knew way more than the Georgia coaches. Love it!!!

Smart will not quit recruiting him. Hope this is not a setup and it sticks.
1. Georgia Finished 3rd.... it was either Alabama or OSU.
2. From what I've read on the board, Smart and Staff just got complacent. They thought winning championship will help with recruiting.... Obviously, it's not.
3. It's the Georgia Offense and the system they got in place that's scaring folks on offense away.
4. Kirby missed a golden opportunity to improve the offense in the offseason with hire and replacing Stenson....
5. Kirby will likely turn to alternative choice and get someone to flip.... Probably the kid who's committed to SC..
