Critics are going too easy on Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I didn't mind it being sort of a rehash of ANH. The fight scenes were awesome and brutal. When the giant weapon destroyed the planets, it was emotional. I loved that.

My biggest gripe was that Kylo Ren's script was just fucking awful. Surely I can't be the only one that saw this right? The last scene when he's just telling them "Hey that lightsaber is mine!" and "we're not done here. Han Solo won't save you now" was really bad to me. Rivals Anakin's scene where he tells Obi Wan the Jedi are evil from his perspective.
