The other day I mentioned they had released an episode that was a crossover between Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks. It was a weird, but intriguing episode. Definitely not an episode borrowing another's storyline: very unique.

Well, this week?

Look, I'm not a fan of musicals and I've seen a few both on TV and live. This one caught my attention not only because it's a Star Trek episode, but how well it was performed.

No doubt, one of the most unique episodes of any show I've seen in my life ... across multiple genres.

Yeah, I caught their hook...line...and sinker.

City on the Edge of Forever...remember? The time travel episode from the original series? They just dropped Kirk into Strange New Worlds ... Roddenberry style.

203 is one of the best episodes I've seen in this genre called Star Trek,

I have enjoyed the first 2 seasons and will likely have to wait til season 3 comes out on dvd to rent.

It was freaky how they portrayed the Gorn. It was a far cry from what we saw in TOS. The way they multiply is very Alien-esque.

That crossover was interesting seeing them take characters from the animated show and having actors portray them on a live show.

The musical episode was nicely done. I liked it better than some musical movies where they had actors doing the singing in a program that was originally top tier on Broadway. This was played as if regular people were thrust into a situation where they couldn’t help but to sing.

I need to rewatch the Kirk episode. I recall it being good and enjoying it but the details evade me.

Okay. This may fully qualify me as a Trekkie.

I thought I'd stumbled across an 'Easter Egg.' When 1701-D was commissioned and launched there was a NCC Ortega (which I thought was Oretegas yesterday.) That's Jean Luc-Picard if you are wondering—23rd century.

1701 (Pike, then Kirk) was two centuries before D. (There was an A, no B or C.)

In this series we see Ortegas as the navigator with some emphasis on her navigation. This season that's highlighted.

Spoiler: You'll see why I thought the ship with 1701-D was her namesake.

Oh, I still don't know.
