🏈 Spring Practice is one week away.

Spring Practice is one week away.

Here's my burning five questions for this spring:

Can they find the best five on the OL for the spring and establish the continuity throughout the summer?

Mississippi State’s Jayvin James
Texas’ Nick Brooks,
Ole Miss’ Ethan Fields
Michigan’s Ty Haywood
Cal Poly’s Racin Delgatty
Michigan’s Kaden Strayhorn.

William Sanders, Jackson Lloyd are going to compete hard this spring.

My guess: LT — Micheal Carroll

LG — William Sanders
C — Racin Delgatty
RG — Open
RT — Open

2. Looking for identity on offense this spring. Can we run the ball? Will we change the scheme of how we run the ball? How will the offense look? Will we use two Tight ends often? Will we be running first to set up pass game?

3. QB battles:
This is gonna be a fun one to watch. This will continue all the way into fall camp.

4. DL/LB depth:
This is more intriguing for me to keep an eye on this. We needed more disruptive players up front and I think this team is actually better on paper this time compared to last year right before spring camp.

5. Winter workouts:

Haven't heard anything on those guys ... Who stood out and did Ballou change up anything working out wise?

Just remember, the line won't gel till Week 10. Let's give them some rope.

I think all of us want an OL that will play the majority of the snaps and not have a revolving door OL.

We must establish a running game!!! Last year, we could not stick our fingers up our rear end with someone giving directions. It stunk! Yes, pun intended.

Just play the best QB that gives a chance to win. If one QB does not work out, move on to the next one.

More interested in the LB personally, especially in coverage.

Who knows? Haven't heard anything coming our of strength and conditioning either.

I have seen a few snippets on Instagram about the 4th quarter program. All of the same general stuff. Barking about being tough and the Bama Standard, etc. I'll be honest. It seems a bit hollow to me after the product we have put on the field that last 2 years. It feels like a lot of talk and not as much action as we have seen. I know CNS is not at the helm and this a different program, and 7 pound 8 ounce sweet baby Jesus, we know with NIL it is a different era. It just feels like the year 2000 and the infamous "Pancake Posse" under the "wheels coming off tour" of Mike Dubose. CKD has a different approach and it works, to an extent.......but until proven otherwise on all of the hoopla about the Bama Standard and playing and executing to a certain level........I will take an ever so optimistic, wait and see approach.

I'm not bought in on the 4th Quarter program any longer either.
