This show comes on ESPNU, fwiw. I catch it several times a week in the AM. It's live in the evening, but I don't know when.

Some of the stuff I've learned...

1. "For Sport Science, I'm John Brenkus".... No, it should be "For Sport Science, I'm an IDIOT"
2. "The hardest hit we've ever recorded in the lab"??? That's unbelievable, they've recorded Professional boxers just straight up right hook! And to go through the bags and hit that hard, that's nothing short of amazing.

None of that post of mine was combative. The first part about "I'm an idiot!" was a joke b/c he let Marcel Dareus throw him as far as he could, I laughed as I typed it, and the second, about Marcel Dareus being the hardest hit they have ever recorded was just amazing to me so I felt like I needed to say "that is amazing considering the other people/ types of hits they have recorded...

A punch vs a full body tackle?

I think the highest Ive seen in punches on the show was in the 900 range. Which is pretty damn impressive.

I have a feeling they mean the hardest hit football related.

Hm, really? 900? So it wasn't even close... Well nevermind then! Haha, I guess I would just think that someone standing and punching something as hard as possible would be harder than a huge man running through obstacles and hitting an object, but I guess that just goes to show that how hard they hit in the NFL...
