5. Nick Saban, Alabama
Oh yes. Nick Satan. The Most Hated Man in Southern Florida. Dan LeBatard's Arch Nemesis. Slick Nick.
Did I mention that he's a hell of a football coach, motivator, and recruiter?
Auburn may have owned the state of Alabama for about the last 6 or 7 years, but eventually, things will even out again, because both schools have great coaches. Say what you want about Saban, the man can coach. It is a proven fact that once he gets his boys in the program he will succeed. Alabama has another SEC West Title in its future. Its near future. Whether Nick sticks around, who knows? I think he will. He's not like Bobby Petrino, who's a piece of human excrement. Saban actually does care about things like history and legacy. It's a fact that Alabama is the dormant flagship of the SEC. If he stays at Alabama, and wins a few SEC titles and one or two MNCs in the next 10 to 15 years before he retires, he'll automatically be the second best coach in Bammy History, and they'll put a statue of him at one of the entrances to Bryant-Denny-Saban Stadium.
