I would not be sup ised to see CLK take another head coaching job but I also would not be surprised if he stayed at Alabama as CNS offensive coordinator. As an assistant, he has a lot less things to worry about instead of an entire program.
Nothing personal, but why would you? Oregon has had their one mulligan since the Chip Kelly exit. The ducks like to stray from the beaten path so Kiffin could, but back to back misses and even Mr. Nike won't be able to save them.
Oh, I'm sure. Like I said, it's just speculation. @TUSKstuff I just feel that it's a major player (not this year, obviously) on the left coast that loves to play a wide open offense. It seems like it would be a good fit for him. Once he's in control, he won't be "held back by the Nicktator" :eyeroll: so he can run his offense like he'd want to.
I am almost certain (as certain as you can be in College football) that Lane will be a head coach again someday but I just don't see him leaving for a lower tier school. I still think the big schools are iffy on him and the longer he stays and Bama and does a good job, the better he appears to the big boys.
