🏈 Southern Cal?

Anybody heard anything about us possibly playing Southern Cal in 2010? Someone told me it was posted on BOL, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I know we're supposed to be playing Penn State, but if we got Southern Cal, that would be great.

It has been a bit of a message board rumor, but I'd be surprised if it happened. We will have UF back on the schedule, and Penn St as our big OOC game. I just don't see it happening, not that season.

I am thrilled about the PSU series. I can finally see Bama play without traveling nearly 1000 miles to do so. State College is only a few hours away and I have a few friends with season tickets. Although I think I'll try to score some in the Bama section for the game.

Only thing is those same friends are going to expect me to come up with tickets for them for the game in T-Town.

All that said, add USC to the schedule would be awesome, it would be brutal, but it would be one of the best years we've ever had game wise. I say if it's possible, we should do it!

It's been a rumor for a quite while now that we would play USC in Dallas's new stadium in 2010. It would be in place of the Duke game, and USC would be able add a 13th game to their schedule since they have Hawaii that year. As much as I hate to say it, I really hope we don't do it.. we should just wait and see them in the Championship game. We already have Penn State and we go back on the road in 2010.

I THINK we play both. I believe we have a stretch of Florida, Tenn, LSU and Auburn. TOUGH!

Yeah, UF & South Ca. rotate on Bama's schedule the same year. Just like in 2005.

That series has been scheduled for 5+ years now. In fact, we were supposed to play it earlier and it was pushed back a few years.

I want to say the agreement between the schools was finalized in 2002 or 2003...
