🏈 Some things to take away from last night's game and another item moving forward

So, now that the big game is over, I believe there are some interesting things to take away from it going in to next year.

On Jameis Winston, he is a baller. They were pounding on him all game long and he took it and kept coming back. He definitely did perform under pressure at the end. That said, I believe Auburn also exposed some things; he has a long wind-up and definitely does not have a quick release, he can be rattled with pressure, and he is not the most gifted runner out there. He has plenty of time to work on these few weaknesses, but give The Barn some credit for exploiting them. They brought some serious heat and were very physical. Which brings me to the other thing.

Defending the HUNH. Watching Au-Barn bring intense heat play after play and looking at the 3rd quarter when FSU successfully slowed them down, it would seem that while gap discipline is important, so is aggressive run blitzing. You can't sit back and wait for them and react, you have to take it to them.

Also, FSU's NT had a great game and made a huge impact. We need another Cody/Williams in the middle, and everyone has to totally buy in, trusting everyone else enough to be super aggressive in their own assignment. Which leads to...

Last thing... Just heard some scuttlebutt that a couple of players and maybe even a coach (on defensive side) may be kicked off the team here very shortly. Something about being major cancers on the team, etc. Could be what AJ was referring to about "buying in." Take it for what it's worth.
