Which leads me to Ohio State.
I'm curious as to which teams around the nation you think would beat Ohio State this season other than the three obvious: UA, CU, and ND. And personally, I don't think Notre Dame would have a chance to beat Ohio State.
If you're in the wheelhouse of "the best four" for the Final Four, and we look around and fail finding teams who are better than the Buckeyes, if they only play five games this season but are one of those four...how do you leave them out?
FWIW, I'm not quite sure how I feel about the whole thing. I know what I'm thinking.
If I were a coach of a team who'd just been through a 10 game season and I'm looking at playing a team who has been off for a month, or just had a couple of games in two months, I'm licking my chops. As the saying goes, "there's rust to knock off" and that kind of disparity leads me to think that "rust" has eaten through the body in a few areas.
