Yes he did. It’s all true, but the team could be in worse shape. Brings up points I’ve discussed in the past. Players specifically leaving and flourishing. Within the conference and in other conferences.

A name to keep an eye on as a possible addition is Maya Johnson, P from Belmont. There's a couple of girls transferring out of Iowa that are also apparently in the mix, among others.

Been quiet lately on the surface but the staff has been working the portal for a few targets. They won’t add many, but likely at least 2 more.

I saw Coach Lance in Kansas this weekend. He was mostly looking at 2027 pitchers. I have yet to see Coach Murphy at a tournament in a while.

Yeah she’s a rock solid pick up!!! She has great lineage also….
Dad played in the MLB, uncle and grand father played in the NFL, her mother played college softball at USF.

Now the bad news... it appears Bama missed out on the 2 big pitching targets they were after... I felt pretty good about UA landing Maya Johnson (mentioned on page 1), and maybe fortunes will turn, but it appears as of now Bama won't get her.

Several Bama signees (5 to be exact) are on the East roster and set to play tonight on ESPNU in the PGF Senior All-American Game for those that care (or might be bored). Game starts at 7 pm...

Interesting note about Bama softball. With Fouts wedding this past weekend Bama missed out on the first weekend to host 2027s. Several Bama targets took visits elsewhere and a few have already committed to other schools. I know 2 holdouts from their Auburn visits this past weekend that were waiting until their Bama visit this coming weekend. The top 2027s have been swallowed up quick this year it seems.
