Another game, another win for UA (now 19-0 on the season). Moten was sharp as usual in the circle... she ended up going 5 innings, 0 runs on 1 hit (4 K's, 3 walks). Pallozzi relieved her and finished things out. At the plate, Bama got HR's from Roman, Wells, and Pupillo. They also played a little small ball in the 5th to scratch across some runs.

Next up, Bama closes out with weekend with a game vs. Oakland in 30 minutes.

Bama beats Oakland and improves to 20-0 on the season. The freshmen did much of the damage today for UA, especially early on. Pallozzi got the start and went 3 innings, giving up just 1 run. While at the plate, Roman and Taylor both hit HR's as they combined to drive in 5 runs. Alea Johnson threw the final 4 scoreless innings to secure the win.

Also, congrats to Kinley Pate. Today was her Sr. Day and she got the start this afternoon against Oakland. She’s mostly been used as a pinch runner during her time at UA. But she went 1-3 today (came within an eyelash of going 2-3). She got a single in her last AB and then stole 2nd. Also, recorded her first ever RBI at Bama in the base hit. Good for her. She’s supposedly a really good teammate and well liked by the squad.
