The second seed Alabama softball team bounced back in a big way as it downed four seed Oklahoma, 8-6, Tuesday night.

Heck of a series to watch. I'd encourage all to watch if you can.

I would not be surprised to see it go either way. Both pitchers have been strong at times and wholy human at others. Jackie went 6 innings giving up 1 run last night, then OU made it look like a slow pitch softball game scoring five runs in the blink of an eye. The player of the year, OU's Pitcher, played like it during game one but set a World Series record by hitting 5 batters (and only needed 4 innings to do it). Bama had some fielding errors that seemed uncharacteristic of a team now on the bring of 60 wins for the season.

Bottom line is that either team can win. This is one that will go to the one who can get over "self" the best.

Roll Tide Ladies. Go get 'em.

Also, on a side note. Coach Stoops was in the stand last night in support. I couldn't help but wonder what form of Getting Ahead Coach Saban was up to while ol' Bob was taking in the game.
