Briski had a bit of a rough go at it starting, but good news is freshman Kaitlyn Pallozzi came into the game in the 2nd inning and kept Liberty off the board the rest of the way... some good innings for her.... 5.1, 3 hits, 0 walks, 4 K's.
Played a little more small ball today, not a ton though. They’ll be a little harder to scout and pitch to this year as long as they don’t constantly play small ball.
As a pitcher in baseball and softball when you know a team is a “small ball” team all the time. You pitch around d big hitters and play the small ball at bats up into the hands. You better be lights out to play small ball against the better pitchers in college softball. It gives a pitcher pause now…..
