Personally. No. I'm familiar with her seeing her name throughout the years. I want to say she started making news in softball back when Shula was coaching his brand of softball. UCLA...GB.

She is my daughter’s hitting coach’s girl friend. She is living in Atlanta now with him. He works a ton with UCLA which is how they met. I have become the person responsible for finding field time for Team GB here in Atlanta before big international tournaments. She is a big Murph fan and they had a long talk after the game last night. My daughter however refused to talk to Murphy last night. She is still a bit hurt by the rejection. Lol

Vic went so much drop last night against Tech I wonder if we will see more of her rise this afternoon. Soon these schools will have scouting reports on these freshmen pitchers but Vic can throw multiple pitches. Needs to work on her off speed though to really work well against the better SEC teams.

I can only thank my mother. And, believe it or not. It likely has to do with no having a TV in the house for years. I absorbed a lot reading a lot (setting aside sense.)

Tide beats Tech 7-2. Moten got the win again... had to battle a little more today, which is a good thing IMO. She gave up back to back solo HR's in the 1st inning, but rebounded from that and kept the Yellow Jackets off the board the rest of the way (which was 6 innings for her, Johnson pitched the 7th). Salen Hawkins and Jena Young both HR'd for Bama. Alabama finishes the weekend 5-0. They'll be back in action next weekend, at home, in the Easton Bama Bash (vs. Purdue, Liberty, and Georgia Southern).

I want to see another weekend or two of games before making too many assumptions on it, but yes. They are attacking hittable pitches. And the ball is jumping off their bat, it isn't just HR's. Murphy loves to play with the lineups, especially early, and he's going to have some good options it appears, with a little bit of speed and lotta bit of power 1-9.

They've had an odd weekend... Lost to North Florida, then beat Notre Dame, Michigan St., and Clemson... then turned around and lost in extras to Pitt.
