Bama will play East Carolina and Georgia Tech on Friday, then Villanova and Georgia Tech again on Saturday. All the games will be streamed on radio via the Varsity app but I think only the games against Georgia Tech will be on ESPN+.

Yes sir. Her whole life she wanted to play for Bama (since she grew up a Bama fan) but unfortunately she didn't get an offer from them. At least she is staying close to home and still gets to live out her dream of playing college softball.

Four home runs in the top of the 3rd has Bama up 11-0 against Villanova. Freshman Vic Moten has pitched brilliant so far striking out 5 out of the first 6 batters she has faced. Her velo alone will win a decent amount of games versus lesser competition. But throwing strikes and not allowing free passes is great to see!

Two more home runs in the top of the 4th puts Bama up 14-0. Six home runs from 6 different batters is pretty impressive.

-Freshman Vic Moten got the start for Bama and struck out her first 5 hitters to begin the game and her college career.

-Brooke Wells had a 2 run double in the 3rd.

-Alexis Pupillo added a GSHR in the 3rd.

-Salen Hawkins hit a solo HR in the 3rd. (Marlie Giles followed her with a single off the top of the wall in dead center which almost gave Bama back to back to back HR’s).

-Audrey Vandagriff added a 3 run HR in the 3rd.

-Wells then hit her 2nd HR, a solo shot, in the 3rd.

-Giles again hit the top of the CF wall for an RBI single in the 4th.

-Freshman Ana Roman hit a 2 run HR in the 4th.

-Lauren Johnson followed Roman with a solo shot to left.

-Freshman Ambrey Taylor hit a 2 run HR in the 5th.

-Braya Hodges relieved Moten in the 4th and pitched the final 2 innings to complete the combined 5 inning no-hitter.
