Something a little out of the ordinary happened today. IMPORTANT: I live in Germany. I was walking out of a local bakery and I saw a woman struggling to collapse her baby-stroller. It was pretty bulky, so I offered a hand ("Brauchen sie hilf?") and I was pretty surprised when she turned around and revealed the Auburn logo on her hat. Thank goodness she declined. I was going to struggle something fierce with the temptation to run away with her hat and maim it. Probably not as big a deal as I'm making it out to be, but given the geographical aspect of the whole thing I thought it was interesting. Röll Tide.

hahaha.

I went to India in Feb of this year, had a layover in Frankfurt, Germany - while at the airport I ran into two other Alabama fans (separate parts of the airport) wearing some gear...thought it was cool to see some fans there.

So I'm riding and elevator while wearing an Alabama cap...in Bahrain (a small island kingdom in the Arabian Gulf between Saudi Arabia and Iran), when the elevator stops before I reach my floor. The doors open and the guy standing there says "Roll Tide". He too was wearing Bama attire.

Really makes you realize how small a world it really is. I've never had anything like that happen to me as I don't get the opportunity to travel often and when I do it's usually within the Southeast...furthest I've gone is D.C. but I really enjoy hearing stories like that.
