My job requires alertness in an environment that is conducive to sleep. I had to be up by 0300 hrs to make it to my job on time, so I was in bed by 2030 hrs (I'm on Eastern Time). To go to sleep that early requires chemical assistance, so I was in no condition to watch the game anyhow.
My situation proved fortuitous for I would have had a heart attack at some point during that bloodbath. As soon as I woke up, I checked my yahoo app for the score.
I just watched the final minutes of the game on Crunch Time. When Griffin stepped up to attempt the tying field goal, I was nervous even though I new what the result would be.
Believe me,it's not just you. There are a few other Bama fans that I work with and we were all like "What's the score?", "What is going on?", "Does anyone have an update?"
I pulled a Dad and cut the game off in digust when Yeldon fumbled.... i had been fighting the flu for 4 days though so i really just wanted to sleep. I awoke to what seemed like a Christmas present on sportscenter.
I was getting sporadic updates on my phone when I could check, but it was torture not being able to watch such a close and important game!!! And it took forever for OT to load .. GAH!
I was streaming the game online...... It froze right when he lined up to kick. I almost needed a new laptop. (for the record...im down a desktop and laptop..... thats why I've been slacking on edits)
