I was at the Barn game this year and I must say..........In all the years of us beating UT, they always represent well. I was absolutely shocked at how few Auburn fans made it to the beat down this year. Easily in all the years of the UT whippings, they had twice as many fans as there were Barn fans at Tuscaloosa this year. Couple had on orange and blue sitting behind me left at half time.........of course it was 42-0.

After the few weeks leading up to the iron bowl, (LSU/aTM) I had all the close games I had wanted for a while. Hence the beatdown in T-town was wonderful.

The BCS was awesome for the first half. But in the second half, the men vs boys fiasco became a tad tiresome as the Irish were just so bloody inept; over rated and under powered in every way. In short, the battle was too physically easy to be mentally engaging (at least LSU in last years BCS beat down were still technically in it until Trent marched in a TD late in the 4th).

Georgia caused hair loss.
Auburn was another men / boys fiasco.
Therefore...
best game: the LSU re-match
best first half: The Irish BCS beatdown. It was phenomenal!

the LSU game made me lose about 15 pounds and the Georgia game caused me to break a few things....

The Auburn+ND game was probably the best for me....Got to sit back and relax for the most part and enjoy a sweet beat down while watching their fan bases swirl into denial.

Tennessee game was fun too. 25K+ Bama fans in Knoxville, making Neyland a home-field advantage. :chat2_cheers:

I'm like everyone else when it comes to the beatdowns.

As a sports fan, the Georgia game was my favorite with a CLOSE second to the LSU game.

As a Bama fan, not much was better than sitting back and enjoying Bama beating the absolute hell out of Notre Dame. Auburn was a close second to it.

I'm seriously kind of on this side that I want Auburn to have an OKAY year, 9-2 maybe, just so we can beat them down and it would make it a lot sweeter than beating down a 3-8 team

Lots of their fans have said "Alabama can't beat a good Auburn team"....Which is somehow Alabama's fault if you use their logic :headscratch:

Really doesn't hurt my feelings either way :twothumbs:

I voted for the Domer beatdown with the UGA game a close second! I was in the stands for both and the noise level was deafening!! I carried my son to see his first Barner beatdown and it was quite enjoyable as well.

If we are talking most exciting games, the LSU game was the most exciting if only for those last 2 minutes or so. Man, they just drove down the field .. Everyone at the Bama bar I was at had gone into full silence/praying/looking sad mode, and within the space of about a minute, were jumping up and down with joy. GA was a nailbiter too because of those last couple minutes .. Whew.

But upon reflection .. my favorite has to be ND because it was a beatdown of epic proportions on the national stage. Not to mention it was revenge!
