🏈 So In 3yrs at Bama..........

Let me ask you a question.

Did Carlos Dunlap play a part in Meyer's situation?

If I may chime is where I was not invited....

Carlos Dunlap may very well have been part of the list of contributing factors, although I can't see how he would have been a big contributer.

IF stress was a trigger, than everything from Saban, to Dunlap, to one of his daughters getting phone calls from the creep boy Bruno down the street could have contributed.

But I will say this Dunlap and that creepy kid never threatened that thing which CUM pours himself into 100+ hours a week...like potentially Saban was doing.

Please allow me to ask a question: Who among us fears playing Florida next year? If you say no, then that is reason for CUM to stress more than he has before.

Exactly.

I think Saban's terminology actually puts this whole thing in perspective. The "clutter" had its effect on Meyer.

Saban's coaching job in preparation for the SECCG and the result has its bearing on his stress.

Kiffin's petulant behavior before the season should have been a HUGE sign to football fans that Meyer wasn't dealing with things well.

The God, family, football flip-flop this weekend has done nothing more that sum up all the signs we've seen this year.

It wasn't witty or funny. The guy stepped down for health reasons that had nothing to do with Saban.

Hey man, all he's saying is that the game probably caused him a lot of stress. I think he's right, too. Would you not be stressed after Nick Saban's team destroyed your undefeated season and all of your seniors, (the kids you recruited) lose their last SEC game and can't defend their national championship? The stress aggrivated his cyst, and Alabama was at the root of that stress.

Stress is part of coaching and some people can manage / control it well through various different methods...but alot cant and dont know how to deal with it...and stress can kill just as a easily as a bullet. I suspect though that none of us will ever know the 100% truth about what is happening with Meyer...I wish the man and his family well.

If I was him, I could think of almost four million things that came into my life each of the last few years that could ease the stress quite nicely.

If you can't take the heat, take your millions and get out of the kitchen. He sold his and his family's time to make the big bucks. Sometimes, you get what you wish for. I don't feel sorry for him. You can't buy back time, and I think he realizes that now.

And another thing while I'm at it. Think he's ever said to himself, "I gave this, this, this and this to these young men. Meanwhile, they are out partying, drinking and driving, dealing with gangs, and they don't work very hard when they are here. They're talented and that's why I got them. They are the only way to win, and you know, it's just not worth it anymore to have to put up with this type of thing."

Think about it.

Fascinating story.

Here's the conclusion I've reached.

I watch a show that CBS carries called Criminal Minds. One word that is used often in their dialogue is stressor. (e?) It's a catch word used to describe what event sent a killer over his "breaking point."

The loss was Meyer's stressor.

36-0 was the stressor for the Auburn PTB.

No, it was witty and it was funny and you are a fool with no sense of humor with a seemingly strong desire to ridicule an Alabama poster.

You seem very reactionary and out of place.

You are also a liar and you don't follow the news very closely. You say he stepped down for health reasons that had nothing to do with Saban. Yet, he came close to having a heart attack within hours of Coach Saban and the Tide pummeling him.

You could almost literally say that Coach Saban just about beat him to death and he subsequently quit his job because of the severe beating.

So, lighten up, message board warrior, and have some fun.
