...aspect of the game are you working on in practice?

There's a premise here. The offense your unit is practicing against is using short, quick throws with the quarterback—just like we'll see this Saturday.

The first part of Wednesday's practice had our secondary, more attention to the corners, working on tackling position. That undoubtedly also includes pursuit angles.

Repeating myself: Florida should move the ball. That makes the earlier note about tackling position worth noting.

It appears to me we're going to take the "keep the play in front of you" approach in pass coverage, an emphasis on open field tackling, and then the defense is going to wait on Florida to make mistakes. If we force some, all the better.

i think i would have them work on properly celebrating pick 6's so we don't get a penalty. :)

It's my suspicion/expectation the defensive line is going to continue getting better and we're going to get a handful of turnovers, likely in a quick succession.

Could be they are not only working against something we will see against FL but another team as well later in the year. I really don't want to see a keep the ball in front of you approach. I'd much rather see we are going to attack you from every part of the field.

Everyone would, Mike. With these quick passing routes Florida uses I want those guys tackled—yards after the catch is something I consider to be one of those "game components" for the Bama D.
