🧑‍🍳 Since it's part of the national conversation and I'm curious 🙃 ... what are y'all paying for a dozen eggs?

I don’t pay for eggs, I get eggs from a neighbor that has free roaming chickens, but my mother paid $4.35 for a dozen
I've talked with the guy who lives behind me about building and maintaining a coop. We've got a couple of problems. One, if when they get in his backyard his dog will likely kill them. I have three and two that wouldn't bother them. The third? OH, it would be a game to him.

Facts pretty much say A LOT of what I make requires eggs. I'm still a miser when it comes to how much money I'm spending...doing a breakfast casserole this morning that'll require five...it'll put out three, maybe four, days / meals for two. Six servings if eaten by itself.

Got a meatloaf I'm going to throw together today with some ground sirloin...pretty sure I used two the last time.
