Absolutely stunning how much talent we have watched as Bama fans this passing decade. When Derrick Thomas left I lamented that for years. Now you don't have time. Probably the most decorated defensive player at Bama, Jonathan Allen, is quickly filed and here comes Payne and Davis. It really has been incredible how well coach Saban has selected players and developed them into 1st round prospects.

It was said of Coach Bryant he could take his and beat yours and take yours and beat his. There were plenty of times that coach Bryant didn't have the most talented team on the field. With Saban, it's hard to look at this program after 2011 and not say that we've had the best pure talent of anyone we've played. What Saban can do, he can recruit, and take his and beat yours.
