Saw it on the news last night. :doh2:Really hard to tell who's foot is actually on the plate when the whole damn team is out there to congratulate her! I like the HS rule here though. Players can't be on the dirt before the player touches the plate. Then you get to mob the kid!
did it not look like when the ump handed the catcher a new softball he told her something and thats when they tagged the plate and called her out? ive never seen an ump do anything like that. normally they just stand there looking at the plate until either team notices and the plate is tagged or the batter goes back and touches. At least thats what it looked like to me but hell with the way they been playing im surprised they scored as many runs as they did
