| LIFE Should I upgrade to Windows 11?

My current PC is running Win10. I keep getting the "Upgrade" screen when I turn it on. It doesn't come up every time, but it's becoming more frequent. I've held off because I don't like upgrading if I don't have to. And I always wait as long as I can so they can work out all the bugs and kinks from whatever new software they've put out.

So is it worth it to upgrade? Are there any major changes that I might not like? Are there changes that I can't turn off or make better? Is it intrusive as hell And won't let you do certain things? Will I lose all my settings and have to go back through and re-download and install everything again? I do regular backups so if my computer gets bricked by the update, I can fix it.

I use my computer for internet (duh), a bit of gaming, some streaming, and not much else. It's a mid-tier system that I built myself several years ago.

If I could, I wouldn't have upgraded from my XP. I did, and the one I got when it was time to upgrade to the W-11 my old one didn't have what I needed to upgrade. But I thought it was going out on me so I got the W-11. But all along it was the monitor.

Unless you want to upgrade than do it, but if not I would wait till I have too.

They'll stop customer support for 10 next fall. I'd give it a few months so all the upgrade / packages load at once. Personal preference.
