Since when does being a student athlete mean that the rights of the individual to express themselves for better or worse are going to be stifled by autocratic coaching staffs?

At the point they sign their scholarship papers to be a part of a schools' athletic and academic programs.

If you think that the University of Alabama's football program is going to be successful without being led by one person, one voice, and both are to be followed to the letter of the law you've grossly misunderstood the the program we all follow dearly.

While I think this social media clause that's been included in the NC allegations is a stretch—as in at this point an impossible situation to monitor—if our head coach says, "no social media interactions" that's the way it is.

Pure and simple.
