Shorthanded Bulldogs top Crimson Tide

Although short-handed the Bulldogs went on the road to defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide 65-62 on Thursday night.

After watching Bama women's basketball the past 6 - 7 years and especially the past 3, it's obvious AD Byrne has decided to just let the program ride. I understand CKC is a good person but she cannot recruit and stay up with the elite teams in the SEC. There are current coaches that have been at programs 2 - 3 years that are in the top 10 and she's had this team in the NCAA tournament once during her tenure. Also watching this year, she had one player that's a ball hog. At just about every timeout you see an assistant talking with this player. Of course, not sure that's what is being talked about but if so it's not doing any good. There are some good coaches out there and one in particular at UGA. She's a former Bama player and would probably be interested in at least listening.
