A guy that lurks on Auburn boards a lot copied this. He's considered "plugged in."

The push from Arkansas is real, and it has been since he stayed up there after our game with them and met with some āfriendsā that want to bring him back. Hereās the context:
Leading up to that game, Gus hadnāt beaten anyone of note in a few years, and has had a very average run post-2013. His fear was losing to Georgia and Alabama, no extension, and having to beat them both on the road next year or heād be fired. Heād be crazy not to listen.
So, his boosters are excited, and he was telling them heād love to have the job (or was at least very interested). Then, Auburn beat the crap ($1 to Gus) out of UGA and everything has changed.
Now Sexton is putting the screws to Leath and will get everyone worked up, knowing that the new President will need this over quicklyā he doesnāt want to be hiring a football coach and an AD.
Most likely theyāll be talking over the next few days about an extension, and will come to an agreement after the IB and before the SECCG, as long as Gus wins next week. If he gets beat, then weāll see. The money and extension may not be what Sexton wants and then the game of chicken begins.
Regardless, if Gus wins the IB he aināt leaving. Heās gonna get paid, and he wonāt be packing up and moving.
