It sure was good to see him on the sideline Sat. night. When they went down to Holly and I saw that big smile I was so excited.

The interview made it sound like he basically woke up that morning and knew he should be in Athens that night. It says a lot that he still wants to be a part of it all almost 10 years later. It also says a lot for Saban and staff that they arranged for him to be on the sidelines. According to rumors that wouldn't have been so easy with some previous regimes.

I wish him the very best and hate that he is still not playing. I know how much he wants to be, but maybe God has something else in store. I wish he could somehow come back and be associated with the university. He will always be one of our finest, and I'm so glad he was there Sat. night.

I wish someone would sign him i think he has a few good years left in him. He looks like he slimmed down a lil and im sure he is in top notch shape.

While he's in the "not playing" mode I wish the radio crew would snag him as guest analyst.

You could tell from that big smile tha he was really proud of how our team was playing.

yea everyone around us all shutup and just listened when we saw Shaun was down there. it really sucks that noone will sign him. hes even had his agents tell teams hes willing to be a #2 back and take a CONSIDERABLE paycut. dude just wants to play and prove hisself.
