🏈 Shaun Alexander comments on Yeldon / ESPN blog writes about his nuance.

Much like Hank Aaron in his playing days, T.J. is so smooth you don't realize just how good he is. A nice spin move, enough power to break tackles, not as fast as Drake, but I have not noticed him being caught from behind.

He's been my favorite player since he signed with us. I also think he is so quiet and shy that he goes way under the radar with his talent and abilities. I called in to the Bill King show and jumped all over Phil Steele while he was on when he put Yeldon as the third best back after Gurley and Mike Davis. Yeldon and Gurley are 1A and 1B to me. Gurley just gets more publicity because he's truly all Georgia has and totes the rock seemingly twice as much as Yeldon. We have a team full of options, yet Yeldon still gets his yards and makes an impact. I was lucky enough to buy a game worn jersey of his and it is one of my most prized collections pieces. I have been screaming his praises for three years now, and I hope others will start to see what he has and is accomplishing without all the headlines and fanfare.

Chubb would disagree...
