This is worth following.

Word I'm getting is they are planning on announcing they are promoting their baseball coach, Ray Tanner, into the AD's position.

Now, how he handles that position is left to be seen. I've no comment one way or another.

But, here's what strikes me as interesting.

LSU did the same a few years ago when they moved Skip Bertman into the AD's position and their baseball team suffered for several years because of the move. Will UofSC's suffer as well?

It's being thrown out there that Chad Holbrook will take over the baseball program.
