I think they ejected him to keep the game from getting ugly. It's already over and the refs know it... no need to let the emotions take over have have a fight or get someone hurt.

Hate he has to miss a half of the bowl game. I just see it as messing with these kid's futures as they try to get drafted, and need all the tape they can get. ejection and suspension should be something really bad in my eyes.
