Gainesville bar Cantina 101 will be serving free shots any time Florida scores against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. Patrons will receive "orange-and-blue shots" every time the Gators increase their point total against the Crimson Tide, by whatever means that would be accomplished.

You'd think this would exclude extra points, but who knows. Florida is projected to score fewer than 10 points by F/+, which would only mean as many as four chances to put this gimmick into effect (three safeties and a field goal). Maybe the bartenders will get loose with it.

To us, it’s not about the money,ā€ said Erik Zika, co-owner of Cantina 101. ā€œIt’s to have a good party and to have a good time. It’s the last time we get to see our Gators play this year, other than the bowl game, of course. I’m cautiously optimistic.ā€

The upshot here for Florida fans is that they'll be able to drink for free and then possibly drive home without breaking the law.

I guess no one will be drunk at that bars!:D

Junior linebacker Rashaan Evans created a mini-firestorm when he tweeted "It's been fun Bama" earlier in the day, a tweet that has since been deleted. But Evans was at practice. Evans has played in 11 games, recording 32 tackles, including 2.5 sacks.
When I read this I didn't take it, as he was leaving Bama. @alabama mike and I have been having conversation, about how we are betting. "It's been fun alabama mike." Does this mean I'm leaving? :headscratch:

Man the hype for the defense has been off the charts this week. Hope it doesn't get our D too cocky. Fortunately Florida offense is not dynamic. Hopefully we don't loose too many 50/50 long ball throws.
