🏈 sec west div title

thanks. they changed rules some years back looks like
I think I misunderstood your question thinking Auburn would have two SEC losses. If you're talking an 7-1 AU team and a 7-1 Bama team it will get sticky. It goes to a tie breaker. Rules can be found with a quick google search of SEC football tie breakers. I think there are seven different breakdowns.

AU beats Bama but lost to LSU.
Bama beats LSU but losses to Auburn.

If all that is the case I'm pretty sure Auburn goes to ATL.

This why the last month will be fun....
Would the PCommittee take a 2 loss AU??? SEC champs...
With wins over Bama, UGA twice.......
But 1 loss OSU, ND, Clemson, PSU/Ok/Bama (on a fluke...kick 6 type)?
That could be sticky.....
They took a non conf winner last year over conf champ who beat them on a fluke...
Best teams is goal...vs conf champ

It's my opinion if it ends up like you've described here both AU and Bama would be left out.

The B1G gets one (PSU or OSU,) ND is in with one loss, OK and Clemson with one loss fills out the field. That translates to three conference champions with one loss (trumps both SEC teams) and a one loss ND team with a better resume than both.

That said...perhaps we need to get into a thread about the chances the BiG12-2 gets through the season with a team with only one loss. OU is the only boat the conference has a chance with.

Why is that? Tcu n okie state have one loss....
And the B12 format maybe thei downfall.. or their saving grace..
at the end of regular schedule...the best 2 teams play each other...
Nov is going to be fun for us CF types....
I would bet....there will be a 2 loss team in CF playoff...maybe even Stanford...if they win n out..

OU has Ok State this weekend and TCU the following week. Someone is losing their second ballgame the next 2 weeks. Ok State gets Iowa State the week after Bedlam. You could possibly have OU lose this weekend then beat TCU next weekend and the Ok State lose to Iowa State, giving all 4 of those teams 2 losses. Eliminates the Big 12!!

Not to get too far off topic, but why is Bedlam so early this year? Thought they always played rivalry weekend or the last game of tge regular season?

I think this is the first year that the Big 12-2 got an exemption to have a championship game. Bumped everything up a week to have their "title" game the first weekend in Dec.

Right four teams are all 4-1 Oklahoma, Iowa St., TCU, Oklahoma St. With Iowa St. holding win over UO, TCU. With a game with OK St. coming up. Iowa St. only lost coming from Iowa.

Definitely no good. The entire ball must be inside the upright. My son's HS team lost in the playoffs last year on a kick exactly like that one. Went directly over the top.

Auburn would have two losses if they lost to Georgia.
