If we build it, with they come?

If the SEC, who is THE source/THE standard for the NFL, were to partner with a willing city and coorperate sponsor to pool their All-Stars/graduates into an Us vs Them "Senior Bowl", then a Bowl Game of a new type could be built.

Imaging SEC fans flooding a stadium to stand shoulder-to-should to cheer TOGETHER for the same team.

But, would players from other conferences come? Could it be done?

Didn't there use to be an NCAA All-Star team vs. the NFL Champions (before Super Bowl) typically against Da Bears back when Gale Sayers, Dick Butkus and Mike Ditka were playing for them? It was way before my day (born in 1979), but I think I heard that the NFL Champs typically beat the crap out of the College All-Stars, although still an entertaining idea.

Not sure i'd pay to see that.

The series ended back in the sixties, and you are right, the NFL champs usually pounded the college all star team. Still, it was pre season, and a few accidents did happen.

Played from 1934-1976. College All Stars won 9 and tied 2 of the 41 games (no game in 1974). Coach Bryant was an assistant to Otto Graham in 1965, when Bill Curry was on the squad. Story goes that he took Curry under his wing during that time.
