🏈 SEC vs SEC- Weeks 1 & 2 : Who ya got, and why do you have them?

South Carolina -10 at Vanderbilt

Straight up, Carolina and -10 is good as well. I'd like Vandy to win.

I know Vandy is supposed to be more competitive this year and I do expect them to give teams a harder time this season. The talent gap is just too wide between the two teams and Vandy carries one of the worst home field advantage rankings in the NCAA.

Georgia -3 at Missouri

Georgia wins, but I'm taking Missouri +3. The Tigers carried the 4th best home field advantage in college football last season and I don't expect that to change. I really want Mizzou to win this game. In the end, I just have to go with the depth UGA carries in this game.

Florida -2.5 at Texas A&M

Florida straight up and Florida on the points. I love good defense and I don't think Sumlin's new offensive approach will have time to "get it together" when the Gators visit.

Auburn at Mississippi State -1.5

Auburn straight up, and to beat the spread as well. This one comes down to Auburn's front seven. Miss State does have a good amount of talent and depth in their receiving corps but I just see them having the time to get fully into their routes to take advantage of something on the field they have on paper.

I'll take Vandy to cover but USCjr wins the game. Vandy at the beginning of the year is always tough when at full strength. Franklin is doing good things there in Nashville.

Week 2 UGA goes to Columbia and covers. I think that even with the suspensions at UGA, defensively, they will be too strong for Mizzou. They were a top 5 defense last year.
I think Sumlin and the Aggies get Muschamp and the Gators. Florida offensively will struggle and i think that is the difference.
MSU has 1 QB and the Barn has none!! Dan Mullen and company finally get a win over someone in the West not named Ole Piss.

I like USCe to win and cover. It will make a lot of difference to their offense that there will be no Steven Garcia drama this time around.

I think Mizzou treats their Dawg visitors rudely. Ga. secondary will be patchwork at this point. For a Big 12 team Mizzou played pretty good D the 2nd half of the season.

Fla at aTm. Oood D and a questionable offense versus no D and a questionable offense. The Gayters win and cover.

Aubs at MSU- Tyler Russell started to emerge last year. Bullpups win straight up.

Soooo,

it appears early on I have more respect for the Van Gorder change at DC down there than most do here. :confused-smiley-013

Barn D will be better. Hell, it couldn't get much worse could it? I just think they will have too many issues on offense that their D can't overcome. No QB, 175lb. feature back, wrs with no qb to throw them the ball. I just think that Mullen and MSU finally beat someone not named Ole Miss this year.

WEEK 1
South Carolina -10 at Vanderbilt
SC will trash Vandy

WEEK 2
Georgia -3 at Missouri
Gonna be a decent game... for 3 quarters. Then GA blows em out.

Florida -2.5 at Texas A&M
Florida... A&M is in for a rude awakening... early.

Auburn at Mississippi State -1.5
I want MSU but I have a feeling Auburn is gonna be able to take it in the end.
