Since 1992, I have these numbers. Note that I forgot about ties so I counted them as .5 on each side. And I did not include A&M or Missouri as it wouldn't really be right to compare apples and oranges on conferences.

37 of Bama's 61 conference losses over those 27 years occurred under the eight years of Dubose and Shula. Just 24 SEC losses in the 19 years under Coach Stallings, Fran and Coach Saban.
